Purpose:
The purpose of the White House blog seems to inform people of political events and what Michelle Obama is doing. This tends to cast a favorable light on the White House which could be a secondary purpose of trying to gain approval ratings from the country. Usually the stories about Michelle Obama discuss her trying to make a “healthier America.” It can range from her visiting schools to her latest about changing Olive Garden’s kids menu. In the view of the White House with an election coming up, how does this not look good to the American public?
Audience:
The audience of this blog would be those in the American population concerned with what goes on in the White House. Most the people following the blog might be Democrats because that is the party that Obama is affiliated with, but I’m sure people with opposing views read the blog as well to keep tabs on the government.
Materials:
This blog has a mixture of videos and articles all created by different people. Usually the articles include pictures with the text.
